The Goals for the new year

First off I would like to say Merry Christmas to all and hope that everyone had an outstanding Christmas.

My children loved all of their Christmas presents and now that the day is coming to an end. Madisyn is sleeping worn out from the joys that santa and family has brought her, aiden relaxing to nice and fun toy story 3 movie that Grandpa and Grandma Watson got him along with playing with all of the many toys that he got from santa as well. And I sit here and type I wonder what 2011 will bring to us who knows maybe will win the lottery but in order to win you have to play.

As 2011 approaches pretty quickly this year these are my goals for the year whether or not they come true we shall see in 2012 right.

1. I would like to invest in a new camera since ours is getting a little outdated and I would like to be able to take better pictures of my children maybe one of these will do.

2. to get in better shape and back to my before children weight 5 years ago. So with the help of rejoining weight watchers and doing the p90x I should be able to accomplish this goal.

3. To sew more dresses for madisyn this year with the help of these books.

4. To save money: to reach this goal I plan on putting away a certain amount every month as a savings amount and also putting away what I save at the grocery store or whatever store by couponing.

5. And last but not least I am going start saving for my childrens college by putting $5.00 in each of their accounts each week or 20.00 a month depending on the circumstances.

6. To keep on top of all my surveys that I do maybe if I am able to do them all I will earn a littl bit more money this year.

These are my goals so far for the next year coming up I may change them or update as I think more things or accomplish many of them but these are things that will probably not be finished for awhile so wish me luck as we go forward to the new year and I hope that everyone has a great upcoming new year.

yea, I have finished my first apron for maddie

Out of the many many projects I have going on right now I have completed one of them (well I still need to put the ribbon on the apron but its half done). I am pretty proud of how this project turned out I was expecting it not to turn out. I had messed it up in the beginning when cutting the fabric but I just decided to go with it. And tada it came out a lot better than i had anticipated it to.

Christmas time

As Christmas time approaches very quickly this year and we as a family are learning to make our own traditions. I have found that I still very much miss home with our huge big family Christmas dinners and mornings opening presents with all the nieces, and nephews. I don't know if Christmas will ever be the same without those little types of traditions.
After living in Ohio for almost 2 years now I still can't seem to have that same feeling of home and the Christmas spirtit. I am trying to make up our own holiday traditions with the kids by having them make the Christmas chain, and decorating sugar cookies or doing a gingerbread house. I am thinking that one of these years we as a family need to go to Washington for Christmas.

LIsts, lists, lists and even more lists how will I get through it all

I have recently found a way to keep up with everything in my little world of chaos that I seem to create very much by myself I think that I like to have massive stress to get things done in a timely manner. So I found that when I create lists to mark off through the day I don't hangout on the computer all day long and accomplish nothing for the day. By having these lists I am able to stay on track with the many tasks of being a full time student, stay at home mom, housecleaner, taxi cab driver, coupon organizer, have my best friends coupons matchups done within a timely manner for her to be able to use the list. Geez, I am getting tired just looking at all of this stuff that needs to be accomplished on pretty much either a daily basis or a weekly basis, and manage to sit down relax which in my world of chaos doesn't really exist.

To Decorate sugar cookies

As I am getting into the Christmas spirit more this year than the year before with my kids letting them create many different types of christmas crafts and activities. So yesterday I let them frost sugar cookies and put sprinkles on them. It of course did not turn out the way that i wanted it to but oh well. I decided since they were not understanding so I just let them decorate a sugar cookie for each of them to eat. I would decorate the rest of the cookies. They did enjoy doing that as well as eating the frosting out of the tub, but hey they are 3 and 5 what do you expect right. Tonight we will be doing cookie jars so I hope that they are enjoying these fun activities.

A new years resolution starting tomorrow

With the end of the year approaching I think that it is time for me to get back to doing my weight watcher meetings and starting to workout again. So tomorrow will be my first day back on the weight watcher plan and the begining of the p90x workouts yet again. I think that if I blog about it that this may help me to stay on track. Because now, I have to tell the world whether I screwed up on eating and whether or not I gave into to the food that I love so much or wheter I was to lazy to workout. So here we go again, I am determined by spring time to be back to where I was when we moved here to Ohio. And then by the end of summertime to be at my goal weight. So here is the new years resolution yes, I know everyone makes new year resolutions to lose weight but mine will help me to regain self confidence in myself and to be happier with my self image. So back to the sewing and keeping my mind and hands busy at all times.
